Ludhiana/ ( Gurvinder sidhu) Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Jain Acharya Dr. Lokeshji, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Center addressed the International Senior Citizens Day event of Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust established by Shri Anil Monga. Many eminent people were present in the program organised at Heavenly Palace auditorium.
Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria said that senior citizens are like gods, it is the duty of every citizen to respect and protect them. He said that Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust is doing praiseworthy social services with the aim of providing better life to senior citizens, orphan children and women. The Governor said that there is no religion greater than human service. The Government of India through various departments is providing many facilities and services to senior citizens.
On this occasion, the Honorable Governor unveiled the poster of the World Peace Center established by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti under the guidance of Acharya Lokesh Ji.
World Peace ambassador Acharya Lokesh said that senior citizens are our heritage, they are the guardians of ancient culture. It is very important to take care of them. It is everyone’s duty to take care of their parents and elders, but in the present fast-paced lifestyle, the young generation is forgetting this duty. Anil Monga ji is fulfilling this duty wholeheartedly even while living in America, through Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust, he has given the happiness and comfort of home to 100 orphan children and 400 senior citizens on the land of Punjab, lots of appreciations to him for this.
Founder and Chairman of Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust, Mr. Anil Monga said that we have been engaged in the service of humanity for the last 25 years. Global peace and harmony, education, providing food for needy people through Brahmabhog program, Margdarshan is an education and livelihood program to enhance the skills of youth and women, Karma Health Care provides medical care and medicines to the poor and needy, Heavenly Palace is our home for senior citizens with world-class amenities, Heavenly Angels is home for orphan children.
Program began with mesmerizing presentations of songs, music and dialogue by senior citizens. Board Trustees Amrit Bhambri, Amrinder S. Dhiman, Sean Monga, Anil Sighania, Rajesh Narula, Neeru Sital, Kyle Monga, Padma Bhushan Dr. S.S. Johl, Prof. V.K. Mehta Dr. G.S. Wander and coordinator Col. Parminder Singh gave full support for success of the event.
