Social Worker Aneeta Sharma and Shripal Sharma Honoured with ‘Shiksha Shri Award 2026’ for Outstanding Contribution to Distance, Vocational Education and Skill Development of Over 12,000 Students

The Dr. Yadavdev Nath Memorial Trust (Regd.), Roorkee successfully organized the 5th All India Educational Conclave and Teachers’ Felicitation Ceremony under the theme “Udgosh: A New Dawn of Education.” On this occasion, Aneeta Sharma and Shripal Sharma were honoured with the prestigious ‘Shiksha Shri Award 2026’ for their remarkable contributions in the field of education and social service.

During the ceremony, Mrs. Aneeta Sharma, President of Navkiran Women Welfare Association and Belan Brigade, was honoured for her continuous and dedicated work in education, women empowerment, counselling support, and value-based social service. Through her organizations, Aneeta Sharma has been consistently working towards the upliftment, guidance, self-reliance of women and bringing positive change in society.

On the same occasion, Mr. Shripal Sharma, a senior educational consultant, advocate, and journalist associated with Takshila Career Academy and International Education System, was also felicitated for his significant contributions to the education sector. His efforts in guiding more than 12,000 students towards distance learning, vocational and skill-based education, and connecting them with national and international educational opportunities were highly appreciated. This award was recieved from UP Ex-Minister, MP and Shrivasti District Panchayat Shree Dadan Mishra and Shrimati Manjeera Devi University Chancellor Dr. H.S. Nautiyal and other important persons.

The central theme of the program was “Value-Based Education and the Changing Role of Teachers in the Era of Artificial Intelligence (AI)”, on which renowned educationists and experts from across the country shared their insights.

The award ceremony was held on Sunday, 11 January 2026, at Sheffield School, Solapur Chowk, Civil Lines, Roorkee, in the presence of many eminent personalities from the fields of education and social service.
