Present at the event were MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi, Ajinder Kaur, in-charge of the Malwa Central Zone Women’s Wing and member of the State Women’s Commission, Pankaj Sharda, Chairman of the Brahmin Welfare Board, and District Women’s In-charge Manisha Kapoor, Councillors Bittu Bhanot and Neeraj Ahuja Buta, and Women’s Wing Atam Nagar Coordinator Sukhpreet Kaur, Alka Malhotra from Central, and other prominent members. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the committee’s national head, Shri Vijay Sharma, stated that they have raised their voice in favor of the Sanatan society in Punjab and demanded from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann the beautification of our major historical religious sites. They have also advocated for the inclusion of all scriptures and texts of Sanatan Dharma in the sacrilege law being brought forth by the Punjab government. They are also advocating for the participation of the 42% Sanatani society of Punjab. In this regard, the committee is forming block and ward level units, along with assembly constituency coordinators and district units across the state, and has strengthened its structure by appointing zone heads for the Majha, Malwa, and Doaba regions.
On this occasion, Parvinder Behl was appointed as the Doaba Zone In-charge, Joginder Sharma as the Malwa Zone In-charge, Pranav Dhawan as the Majha Zone In-charge, Varun Mehta as the Organizing General Secretary of Malwa Zone 1, Abhinandan as the Organizing General Secretary of Majha Zone, and Nikhil Sharma as the Ludhiana District In-charge, Yash Chadha as the Jalandhar District In-charge, Sukhdev Sharma as the Faridkot District In-charge, Vikas Kapoor as the Moga District In-charge, and Sanjeev Kapoor as the Pathankot District In-charge.
Varun Mehta, while addressing the gathering, said that under the guidance of National Head Vijay Sharma, they will connect with all temples, religious organizations, and social organizations to promote Sanatani culture and organize weekly Hanuman Chalisa recitations. Our goal is to liberate the youth from the clutches of drug addiction, make them self-reliant, and inspire them to work for the betterment of society and the nation.
Present on this occasion were the committee’s Atma Nagar Coordinator Bharat Sharma Nauni, West Coordinator Karan Kanda, North Coordinator Ashwani Kannaujia, Central Coordinator Sahil Pathak, South Coordinator Anil Kumar, Block Presidents Anurag Kannaujia, Suraj Thakur, Rudra Mehta, Krishvi Jalota, Krishna Marwah, and other prominent members of the Sanatani community. Before the start of the program, Pandit Karan Shastri recited Sanatani mantras and lit the ceremonial lamp.
