To resolve the grievances in a convenient and comfortable manner, a CM Window has been established at a district administrative complex on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
With the CM window system, all the grievances will be put up and settled online to bring transparency in governance and ensure prompt redressal of complaints filed by the people.
Divulging further details, Deputy Comissioner Sakshi Sawhney stated that a complainant goes to CM window deak with his/her complaint. After registering the complaint in CM window portal, this will be forwarded to the concerned department/nodal officer. The complainant will receive a message on the mobile number regarding his/her issue. The nodal officer in the concerned department will ensure speedy redressal of the issue by getting it redressed.
Sawhney mentioned that all nodal officers of various departments will be brought on a common platform for quick redressal of grievances of the people. The platform will also help in exchange of information which will result in quick redressal of the grievances of the people. She added that a mechanism has been evolved to monitor each and every complaint thus ensuring proper transparency.
