For ensuring potable water supply to residents, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated projects worth around Rs 23.80 lakh to lay water supply lines in Laxman Nagar and Nirankari Mohalla in ward number 74 on Thursday.
Project worth around Rs 14.29 lakh is being taken in Laxman Nagar, while the water supply lines in Nirankari Mohalla are being laid at a cost of around Rs 9.51 lakh.
MLA Prashar stated that the old water supply lines installed in these areas had deteriorated over the time due to which residents have been facing problems related to water supply.
To resolve the issue, these projects have been launched and new water supply lines are now being installed in the area.
MLA Prashar stated that Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government is committed for overall sustainable development of the state. Projects worth crores are going on in Ludhiana Central constituency for developing quality infrastructure. They are also taking feedback from the residents and projects are being launched to provide relief to residents in every aspect.
