MP Sanjeev Arora encourages educators to embrace next generation education

Ludhiana ( Gurvinder sidhu) MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora has called on educators to adopt innovative teaching methods to equip students for a world driven by technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Addressing a large gathering of students, parents, and faculty at “YES Panorama 2024-25: The First Annual Function of DCM Young Entrepreneurs School” at Dass Auditorium, Arora emphasised the importance of fostering creativity and critical thinking in education.

As the Chief Guest at the event, Arora praised the diversity of cultural performances by the students, noting that all 700 students at the school were given the opportunity to perform. “It’s impressive to see each student actively participating on stage, reflecting the inclusive approach of DCM YES,” he said.

Arora highlighted DCM YES’s pioneering approach to education since its launch in April 2022, which integrates entrepreneurship into the core curriculum. He expressed appreciation for the vision of the school’s management, especially Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools, in shaping students as innovative thinkers, compassionate leaders, and future entrepreneurs. “This aligns with the educational aspirations of Punjab and the nation,” he remarked.

Arora encouraged other schools to emulate DCM YES’s model, which combines academic learning with real-world entrepreneurial experiences, better preparing students for future challenges. He also congratulated prize-winning students and commended the theme of YES Panorama 2024-25, “Global Odyssey.” Inspired by the ancient Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), the theme allowed students to explore and celebrate the cultural diversity of the world, underscoring the importance of global unity and responsible citizenship.

The event, Arora noted, was a journey toward understanding global connections and how an entrepreneurial mindset can bridge cultures, fostering both innovation and harmony. He expressed hope for DCM Group of Schools’ future growth, including opening more schools in Punjab and across India. “Each DCM school is founded with a unique vision and purpose,” he added.

Dr. Anirudh Gupta thanked MP Arora for attending as Chief Guest and acknowledged the visionary legacy of DCM’s founder, M.R. Dass. He shared that the DCM Group plans to open a fully AI-based school in the near future, as part of its mission to prepare students to contribute to a developed nation.

On the occasion, Arora was honoured with a memento by Dr Anirudh Gupta.

Dr. Bishav Mohan was Guest of Honour at the event.
