In a meeting held at Bachat Bhawan with SDMs, Executive Officers, Block Development and Panchayat Officers (BDPOs), and other officials, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of initiating work on various development works for which orders have already been issued. He emphasized that timely completion of these projects is essential to provide necessary facilities to the community.
Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Amarjit Bains, Jorwal took stock of on-going construction works including libraries, kitchen gardens in rural schools, pond cleaning, projects under MPLAD etc. He urged officers to prioritize the use of quality materials in construction and ensure timely project completion.

He said that he would do a weekly review on these works regularly and no lapse of any kind by any officer would be tolerated.
