In recognition of hard-working and efficient employees, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Friday presented the second “Employee of the Month” award to Supdt Grade-1 Yashpal Sharma and Harminder Singh, who is working as Junior Assistant, DEO Office.
Sawhney congratulated Sharma and Singh for the awards, citing their hard work, valuable contribution, and readiness to go above and beyond the duty hours. She emphasized that the award aims to motivate all employees to perform at their best and give them well-deserved recognition. She stated that heads of all branches in the DC office and SDMs offices nominate deserving employees for the award based on criteria such as punctuality, sincerity, and integrity, sense of responsibility, initiative, innovative ideas, and overall contribution to their duties.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government is committed to providing transparent and fair administration, and it is possible with the employees remain motivated to discharge their duties honestly.
Sharma and Singh also thanked the Deputy Commissioner for the award.
