The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), through its Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Ambala, under the Regional Office (RO), Chandigarh, successfully carried out a special anti-encroachment drive along National Highway-44 (NH-44) and National Highway-444A (NH-444A).<\/p>\n
During the drive, approximately 55 unauthorised temporary structures falling within NHAI land and the Right of Way (ROW) of the said National Highways were successfully removed.<\/p>\n
The initiative aimed at making the National Highways encroachment-free, ensuring smooth and safe movement of traffic, and enhancing convenience for road users.<\/p>\n
NHAI will continue to undertake necessary measures to ensure that the Right of Way (ROW) of National Highways remains free from encroachments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
