{"id":29790,"date":"2026-10-28T18:39:56","date_gmt":"2026-10-28T13:09:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/justicenews.in\/?p=29790"},"modified":"2026-10-28T18:39:56","modified_gmt":"2026-10-28T13:09:56","slug":"vigilance-bureau-nabs-inspector-municipal-corporation-red-handed-accepting-bribe-of-rs-25000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/justicenews.in\/?p=29790","title":{"rendered":"Vigilance Bureau nabs Inspector Municipal Corporation red handed accepting bribe of Rs 25,000\/-"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Chandigarh<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\ud83d\ude41 Gurvinder Sidhu)<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) during its ongoing drive against\u00a0 corruption in the state, has apprehended Inspector Shubham posted at Municipal Corporation Zone-B Ludhiana, red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000\/-.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the state VB said the above-mentioned accused has been arrested based on a complaint lodged by a resident of Ajit Nagar, Ludhiana.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He stated that the complainant alleged that after the death of his father, documents for transferring the ancestral property in his and his brothers&#8217; names were submitted at the Municipal Corporation Zone-B, Ludhiana, which were marked to the concerned Inspector Shubham, Municipal Corporation Zone-B, Ludhiana. Inspector Shubham demanded Rs. 25,000\/- as bribe for transferring the ancestral property in the name of the complainant and his brothers.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Unwilling to pay the illegal gratification, complainant approached the VB Range Ludhiana.
