The Election Department, UT Chandigarh, in convergence with the Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, organised a Nukkad Natak at Sukhna Lake today to create awareness about the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll.<\/p>\n
Through engaging performances, the artists highlighted the importance of updating electoral rolls and urged electors to submit their Enumeration Forms well before the deadline of 14 July 2026. The initiative received an encouraging response from visitors at Sukhna Lake.<\/p>\n
As part of the SIR campaign, Special Camps are also being organised on 11 and 12 July 2026 at all Polling Stations across UT Chandigarh. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be available from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM to assist electors with the SIR process.<\/p>\n
Electors are requested to visit their respective Polling Stations, avail the assistance provided and submit their Enumeration Forms by 14 July 2026.<\/p>\n
