Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, while targeting the former Congress, Akali, and BJP governments, said that these traditional parties, during their tenure, deprived deserving and highly qualified youth of Punjab of their rightful government jobs by promoting nepotism and alleged corruption. He alleged that jobs were distributed to relatives or to those who could afford to pay bribes.

He said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government, upon assuming office, freed government recruitment from nepotism and corruption and provided more than 65,000 government jobs purely on merit, setting a record within 4 years.

Dhaliwal was addressing impactful rural public meetings today in the villages of Vadda Fatehwal, Khanwal, Kotli Koka, Chakk Dogra, Vadda Chakk Dogra, and Granthgarh in Ajnala under the “Glorious 4 Years with Bhagwant Mann” outreach campaign.

He further stated that in its short 4-year tenure, the Mann government revived stalled investments in Punjab and established a national track record by providing approvals to national and multinational companies within 45 days in a corruption-free environment.
