{"id":26049,"date":"2026-03-29T19:20:01","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T13:50:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/justicenews.in\/?p=26049"},"modified":"2026-03-29T19:20:01","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T13:50:01","slug":"vigilance-bureau-nabs-asi-red-handed-accepting-bribe-of-rs-15000-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/justicenews.in\/?p=26049","title":{"rendered":"Vigilance Bureau nabs ASI red handed accepting bribe of Rs 15,000\/-"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Chandigarh<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">:(Justice News)<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) during its ongoing drive against\u00a0 corruption in the state, has apprehended Assistant Sub Inspector Lakhwinder Singh\u00a0 posted as Incharge police post Kitchlu Nagar, police station PAU Ludhiana , red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 15,000\/-.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the state VB said the above-mentioned accused has been arrested based on a complaint lodged by a resident of Bank Colony Noorwala road district Ludhiana.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He said that a case was registered against the complainant whose investigation officer was accused ASI Lakhwinder Singh. In this regard, complainant alleged that accused ASI demanded bribe of Rs 30,000\/- in lieu of not implicating the complainant&#8217;s sister and mother in this case. Complainant had\u00a0 recorded the entire conversation of demanding bribe.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Unwilling to pay any illegal gratification, the complainant approached the Vigilance Bureau range Ludhiana.
