Aam Aadmi Party\u2019s state chief spokesperson, MLA and former Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that \u201cFour years of the Punjab Government with Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann\u201d marks the first time in Punjab\u2019s history that a government has fulfilled 100% of its election guarantees (manifesto promises) within just four years instead of five.<\/div>\n

He stated that the government has delivered a wide range of historic welfare measures, including providing \u20b91000\u20131500 per month to women of general and Dalit categories, \u20b910 lakh free health insurance to every citizen, 600 units of free electricity without conditions to 90% of domestic consumers, 64,000 government jobs, and free ration kits (including pulses, turmeric, salt, oil, etc.) to 40 lakh families under the \u201cMeri Rasoi\u201d scheme. He also highlighted major reforms in education and healthcare, including the opening of Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics.<\/div>\n

Dhaliwal was addressing a \u201cJanata Darbar\u201d held at his office to resolve public grievances on the spot. He said that the Bhagwant Mann government, which came to power with a mandate for change based on election guarantees, overall development, employment, and communal harmony, respects every promise it made.<\/div>\n

He added that in the past, Congress and Akali-BJP governments, which ruled Punjab after Independence, allegedly failed to fulfill their election promises, leading to public disillusionment with election manifestos. People even approached courts to enforce these promises and demanded that the Election Commission cancel the recognition of parties that failed to implement their manifestos.<\/div>\n

He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has restored public trust by fully implementing the AAP government\u2019s election guarantees. Based on these achievements and new pro-people guarantees to be implemented over the next five years, the government will seek a fresh mandate in the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections and return to power by defeating Congress, Akali Dal, BJP, and other opposition parties.<\/div>\n

Explaining the purpose of the Janata Darbar, Dhaliwal said it provides people immediate relief without the need to run from office to office. Complaints that cannot be resolved immediately due to legal complexities are later prioritized by police and civil administration officials.
