As per the directions of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Amritsar, Sh. Bikramjit Singh Shergill, Additional Commissioner Sh. Surinder Singh today inspected the site to review the ongoing bioremediation work.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">During the inspection, the Additional Commissioner examined various locations where modern machinery has been installed for the scientific processing of waste and reviewed the day-to-day progress. He held discussions with officials of the EcoStan Company and directed them to further accelerate the work to ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe. He also stressed the importance of maintaining clear access routes for vehicles engaged in the collection and transportation of fresh garbage from different parts of the city, so that routine waste lifting operations continue smoothly.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">From 01 October 2025 to 04 January 2026, a total of 1,50,551 metric tonnes of legacy waste has been processed at the site. The average quantity of waste processed stands at 2,452.5 metric tonnes per day. Up to 31 December 2025, 1,40,741 metric tonnes of waste had already been scientifically treated.
