Under this project, 2.8 kms long pipeline would be installed at a cost of around Rs 7 crore.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Mayor Inderjit Kaur stated that the work is being done under the first phase of the World Bank and AIIB funded canal based water supply project wherein a world class water treatment plant (WTP) is also being established in village Bilga (near Sahnewal).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Overhead water reservoirs and associated pipelines are also being installed in different parts of the city under the first phase of the project which is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 1300 crore.\u00a0Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur stated that working under the guidance of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, people-centric projects are being taken up across the state.
