The championship features over 700 players (boys and girls) under the age of 15 and 17 from 20 districts, competing in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events. Matches are being held simultaneously at Shastri Badminton Hall and Sutlej Club.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Addressing the gathering, Minister Arora highlighted the transformative role of sports in shaping young minds. \u201cSports go beyond physical fitness; they foster discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and character building,\u201d he said. He commended the Interim Committee and sponsors for their efforts in successfully hosting the event.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Arora reiterated the Punjab government\u2019s commitment, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to promote sports across the state. \u201cSports keep our youth physically fit and mentally strong, steering them away from the menace of drugs,\u201d he added.
