Ludhiana ( Justice News\u00a0 )\u00a0 : National BJP Kisan Morcha leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal launched a scathing attack on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, accusing him and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of persistently misleading the people of Punjab on key issues, particularly the ongoing water-sharing dispute with Haryana.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the media, Grewal alleged that CM Mann has become a \u201cmaster of lies and political theatrics,\u201d using emotional manipulation and staged protests to divert attention from his government\u2019s failures. \u201cThe people of Punjab must now see through this dangerous drama,\u201d Grewal said.<\/p>\n
Highlighting growing disillusionment among the farming community, Grewal claimed that various farmer organizations have rejected the Mann government\u2019s role in the upcoming May 4 meeting with the Centre. \u201cTheir demand to exclude Punjab government representatives from the talks clearly shows that farmers have lost faith in Bhagwant Mann\u2019s leadership,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
On the critical issue of inter-state water sharing, Grewal said the Chief Minister has failed to adopt a firm and responsible stance. \u201cRather than seeking a solution, Mann has chosen to mislead the public with false narratives and performative protests,\u201d he charged.<\/p>\n
Grewal also asserted that the current water distribution follows existing legal agreements, and accused Mann of spreading misinformation to cover up administrative lapses. \u201cThis isn\u2019t leadership \u2014 it\u2019s cheap theatrics to save his chair,\u201d he said. \u201cIn contrast, the BJP-led central government is committed to ensuring justice and prosperity for Punjab.\u201d<\/p>\n
As part of the protest, Grewal joined BJP workers in burning an effigy of the Chief Minister, symbolizing public outrage over what he described as repeated lies and failures of the AAP-led state government.<\/p>\n
He warned the public to remain vigilant, stating, \u201cBhagwant Mann is not just lying \u2014 he is consciously attempting to fool the people through emotional exploitation. He is a deceiver, not a leader.\u201d<\/p>\n
