Harpreet Singh, IAS had adopted zero tolerance to unauthorised and unplanned development with a special focus on illegal colonies. He said a special drive has also been launched to take punitive action against those who were fleecing innocent residents under the garb of offering cheaper plots in these unauthorized colonies, which lacked statutory sanction and compliance with the government norms.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In compliance of demolition orders issued by Additional Chief Administrator, GLADA-Ludhiana against unauthorized colonies, Duty Magistrate, police force and enforcement team of GLADA comprising of District Town Planner (Regulatory), Assistant Town Planner (Regulatory), Sub-Divisional Engineers, GLADA, Junior Engineers, (Regulatory) demolished three unauthorized colonies today i.e. 28th October 2024 in villages Jaspal Bangar, Ludhiana by dismantling their roads, boundary walls, passages, sewer manholes and undergoing illegal constructions and structures on these sites. When developers did not stop the illegal<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">construction work despite serving them with the notices, a special team carried out the demolition drive, which went unopposed.
