Ludhiana\u00a0 \u00a0( Gurvinder sidhu)MP (Rajya Sabha) from Ludhiana Sanjeev Arora held a meeting with the new Vice Chancellor of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Dr Jatinder Paul Singh Gill here on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n
During this meeting, Arora discussed many issues and achievements related to the Veterinary University. The VC apprised Arora about the functioning of various colleges and veterinary hospitals, and a plant manufacturing dairy products such as ghee and milk products.<\/p>\n
Arora commended, that the University runs such a manufacturing plant in its campus. Arora was apprised that this plant is being run by the trainee students of the University.<\/p>\n
Arora advised VC to use vacant land lying with University judiciously. He also suggested to involve and get projects done in Public Private Partnership mode.<\/p>\n
He highly appreciated the achievements of the Vet University. He also appreciated the University in promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the diseases through integrated teaching, research and extension programmes.<\/p>\n
Arora offered to provide any kind of help as an MP for overall development of the University.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, Arora presented a copy of Constitution of India to the VC.<\/p>\n
Arora was also accompanied by the Punjab\u2019s eminent Author, Heritage Promoter and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu. He also presented pious portrait of \u201cHistorical Gurudwara Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib\u201d to the Vice Chancellor Dr Gill.
