\nJitendra Jorwal, a 2014-batch IAS officer on Saturday took charge as Ludhiana deputy commissioner, vowing to ensure optimal utilisation of welfare schemes and seamless delivery of services for residents.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Jorwal had served as DC at Sangrur, ADC Jalandhar, Jalandhar Smart City CEO, Chief Administrator, Jalandhar Development Authority and SDM Hoshiarpur in the past.
\nJorwal stated providing a transparent administration with complete accountability will be his priority. He emphasised the need for effective implementation of the flagship programmes initiated by the Punjab government. Schemes such as \u201cSarkar Tuhade Dwar\u201d and \u201cdoorstep delivery of services\u201d were under review during the meeting to ensure they reach the intended beneficiaries efficiently.
\nThe new DC also underlined the district administration\u2019s dedication to providing services to citizens in a smooth, hassle-free, and transparent manner.<\/p>\n
